A Romantic St. Mary’s Boat Club Wedding in Halifax, Nova Scotia J & P
Getting Ready
The bridal suite was filled with beautiful natural light, setting the perfect scene for the morning. The bride and her bridesmaids spent this quiet time together, soaking in the excitement of the day ahead. Instead of focusing on hair and makeup, I captured editorial-inspired moments, the delicate details of the dress, accessories, bouquet, and vail. These calm, light-filled images set the tone for the romantic celebration that followed.

The Ceremony
Tucked away in a small green space beside the venue, the ceremony felt intimate and serene. Guests gathered among the trees, with soft glimpses of the water shimmering through the branches. The natural setting created a peaceful backdrop as the couple exchanged their vows, surrounded by the beauty of Nova Scotia’s landscape and the love of their closest family and friends.

Portraits by the Water
One of the highlights of photographing at St. Mary’s Boat Club is the waterfront access. We took full advantage, capturing dreamy golden-hour portraits along the dock and shoreline. The mix of natural beauty and the venue’s timeless charm made for an incredible backdrop.

The Reception
Inside the Boat Club, warm string lights and elegant table settings welcomed guests. The night was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and an energetic dance floor that kept everyone moving until the last song.
